University Chorale and State Singers, led by Dr Sandra Snow and Dr Jonathan Reed.  University Chorale will perform one of the premieres of commissioned HYMN TO TIME, lyrics by Ursula LeGuin.

Titled “Ring Out, Wild Bells,” this concert is inspired by Alfred Tennyson’s poem, featuring music that calls for the wringing out inequities and injustices of the old and ringing in a new era of fairness, acceptance, and tolerance. The program includes historic and contemporary works by composers such as Felix Mendelssohn, Jonathan Dove, and Lee Kesselman, among others.
