Welcome to Kesselman Press!

Original compositions for Solo Voice, Chorus, Orchestra, and Solo Instruments.

If you're performing something of mine, please let me know!

What's new?

New in print: Ad Amore (fanfare for treble voices and bells),  Munoera (Shona Mass), Rad Halaila (unison chorus, clarinet, piano), the suite of Fairie Choruses from Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream -- all with Boosey & Hawkes.

Ad Amore was rushed into print because of its immediate success and it will be sung by SIX all-state choirs in the coming year. LOVE SONG FOR A COMMON DESTINY is now available on iTunes, in a stunning performance by the Eastern Michigan University Choir, directed by Trey Jacobs.

This summer was most productive -- a new arrangement of Black is the Color with oboe, an SATB version of Ae Fond Kiss, a two-part arrangement of the Star-Spangled Banner. A percussion duo, called Bei Mir. And I just finished a Bagatelle for solo piano, written for premiere at the International Beethoven Project event in September.

And there were terrific performances of my works at PICCfest (Sandra Snow) , Grant Park Chorus (Christopher Bell), and on two European tours (Christy Elsner & Sandy Holland).

What's next?

The premiere of Duo Mythologique at the National Flute Association conference in Charlotte on August 14.

It looks as though THE BREMEN TOWN MUSICIANS, the first opera I wrote with Jim Tucker, will be re-mounted in New Jersey this season. I'm currently working on a children's choir piece, a symphonic work, KADDISH for my Father for my New Classic Singers, and a few other things. ?  And, I could always write a piece for you!  :-)

As we continue to add to and improve this site, it contains more information about my works, premieres and publications.
